Relaya's AI writes drafts for a clinician to review. It does not diagnose, prescribe or give patients medical advice. Here is exactly what it does.
What the AI does
Drafts the OPD note and prescription from the doctor's dictation.

Marks lines you did not dictate, for you to confirm or remove.

Answers patient calls and messages only from information the clinic approves.

Flags urgent or clinical patient messages to staff.

What the AI does not do
- It does not diagnose.
- It does not decide or change a treatment.
- It does not check drug interactions or allergies.
- It does not give medical advice to patients.
- It does not print or send a prescription the doctor has not signed.
- It does not decide where an appointment goes. The calendar follows your rules.
The doctor's controls
The doctor reviews every draft, ticks each medicine, edits by typing or speaking, then signs. Only then does anything print.
Audit trail
Every record view and change is logged: who, what and when.
Models
We change the AI inside Relaya as better models arrive. Your workflow does not have to change. We do not name the vendors we use.
Using clinic data to improve the AI
We will publish our policy on using clinic data to improve our AI here. Until then, ask us and we will answer in writing.
Regulatory posture
- Relaya is documentation and workflow assistance with a clinician's sign-off. We do not market it as a medical device or as clinical decision support.
- UK regulators tie device status to intended purpose, including promotional material. Output made for a clinician to review sits outside the device posture (MHRA, 29 July 2026).
- India's ICMR ethical guidelines for AI in healthcare (2023) say humans should have complete control, and call for public audit. Our Evidence page is where we will publish ours.
- We will update this section when a regulator's view on our products is obtained.
