A pain clinic combines long consultations with procedure lists. Patients arrive with years of history and a bag of reports. Every injection needs consent and a clear record of level, side and response, because the next decision depends on how much the last one helped.
Appointment types cover the new consultation, pain assessment review, injection procedure, follow-up, medication review, nerve block, spinal cord stimulator programming and intrathecal pump refill, each with its own length.
Consent for each procedure goes by link with an e-signature and is saved to the patient record.
The pain management template records pain location, the pain score on a 0 to 10 scale, a focused examination, the interventional procedure and the pain management plan. Dictate the level and side once and check them in the draft.
