A midwifery practice follows one woman through months of antenatal visits and the weeks after birth. The visit schedule changes with gestation. The record has to carry the same measurements visit after visit, and the woman needs to know when to call.
Appointment types cover the antenatal visit, postnatal visit, birth plan discussion, breastfeeding support and home birth assessment. Each sits at its own length in each midwife's calendar.
WhatsApp confirmations go out with wording you approve, and urgent or clinical messages are flagged to your team. For bleeding, pain or reduced movements, tell women to call you or the maternity unit, not to message.
The antenatal template, which we set up with you, records obstetric history, the antenatal assessment, fetal assessment and plan, with gravida and para in their own fields. Dictate blood pressure, fundal height and the fetal heart, and the draft sets them out for you to check.
Relaya does not offer a labour-ward module. It supports the antenatal and postnatal care around it.
