A general surgery practice has two calendars that must agree: the OPD, where hernias, gallbladders and breast lumps are assessed, and the theatre list. Between them sit fitness tests, consent and the post-operative wound review. Most of the chasing happens at the desk.
Appointment types cover the path: new consultation, pre-operative assessment, post-operative follow-up and wound review, with hernia, breast lump, thyroid and gallbladder consultations as their own types. Each gets its own slot length.
In a hospital, OT scheduling with a digital WHO surgical safety checklist and discharge summaries are offered on the same patient record as the OPD note. Unlike the OPD Scribe, they are not yet in daily use, so our team sets them up with yours, on site, one theatre or ward at a time.
Procedure consent goes by link with an e-signature, and the answers are saved to the patient record. The templates are yours to review. We do not provide legal review of consent wording.
